The former head of Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s European operations is set to join independent US investment bank Perella Weinberg Partners as it targets more business in the UK.

Alex Wilmot-Sitwell, the former president for Europe, Middle East and Africa at BAML — and a key figure in its Brexit relocation plans — 

 to “pursue opportunities outside of the bank”, according to a memo at the time.
