Peter Hargreaves tells government to get on with Brexit

'It's a bleeding disaster' says the outspoken billionaire Brexiteer as he lays into May's negotiating tactics

Peter Hargreaves, the co-founder of Hargreaves Lansdown who was a prominent backer of the Leave campaign, has dismissed fears the UK's exit from the EU will hurt the City of London and told the government to get on with leaving.

The outspoken 71-year-old billionaire, who donated around £3m during the referendum, is not a fan of the way the current government is conducting negotiations. He told Financial News: "It's a bleeding disaster, isn't it?"
