Peter Jeffreys, co-founder of Fund Research, has been handed the job of making Standard & Poor's (S&P) indexes the performance benchmark of choice for European investors.

Since launching the firm in 1990 and going through its takeover by S&P in 1997, the managing director of global fund ratings has been instrumental in building the firm as a leading source of funds analysis.
