Peter Young's irregular dealings at the Morgan Grenfell retail funds he used to manage for Deutsche Bank will receive a fresh airing in court this week, nearly seven years after the affair first came to light.
Deutsche has already been forced to pay compensation worth £400m (€552m) to investors. A trial of the facts is to start at London's Central Criminal Court on Wednesday. It will not seek to reach a verdict on Young's guilt or innocence, due to his mental ill health, but aim to establish the rights and wrongs of his management of the funds.
