Former Conservative chancellor Lord Philip Hammond has joined Ventura Capital as chair of its advisory board.

Ventura, which was founded in 2012, invests in growing private technology companies that are approaching a public market exit. It previously invested in companies such as Spotify, Coursera, Zilch and Xiaomi.
