The head of hedge funds at Swiss investment company Unigestion is leaving after under two years to set up his own firm.

Philippe Gougenheim, who joined Unigestion in April 2010 from Man Investments, told Financial News: "I am leaving Unigestion on very good terms to set up my own hedge fund company. Unigestion is planning to support my new venture."
