Fledgling UK fund manager Phoenix Asset Management is launching a European equity fund following the success of its UK product, and boosting its team with two new hires.

The new fund will be launched at the end of February and will be managed by new hire Rod Sleath, who joins from Goldman Sachs. He has a seven-year track record of outperformance against the MSCI in the European markets.
