US fixed-income giant Pimco has made a trio of appointments to its liability-driven investments team in the UK, where new entrants are emerging to compete in the market for these low-risk products.

Hannah Simons will be responsible for designing LDI products for pensions clients in her role as senior-vice president and product manager in the European investment solutions team.
