Pimco, one of the largest fixed income managers in the world, has hired Robert Mead from Citigroup Asset Management as head of European investment grade specialist group.

In his latest role at Citigroup Mead was head of non-US high grade fund management. Pimco has also promoted Ivor Schucking, a senior credit analyst at the firm since 2000, to director of European credit research.
