Craig Dawson, head of Pimco’s business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, has relocated to the bond giant’s Newport Beach headquarters after almost a decade in London.

Dawson took over the role from Bill Benz in 2016, having been head of strategic business management. Dawson joined Pimco in 1999 and has also held roles overseeing its business in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy. Earlier in his Pimco career he was head of product management for Europe.
