Pimco hires Schroders equity chief Virginie Maisonneuve

The world's biggest bond manager will have a new global head of equities from January next year

Pimco, the biggest bond manager in the world, has hired Virginie Maisonneuve from Schroders to become its global head of equities.

Maisonneuve has worked at Schroders for nine years, leading its global and international equity strategies, worth $17 billion. She will be based in Pimco's London office and her start date is expected to be January 2014.
