Pioneer Investments, the asset management subsidiary of UniCredito Italiano, has opened an office in Geneva and hired a head of alternative sales.

Daniel Ghirardi joins from Harcourt Investment Consulting, the alternative investment boutique in Zurich, where he was director of business development. In his new role Ghirardi will aim to further increase Pioneer's presence in the alternative investment market.
