Piper Jaffray, the Minneapolis-based securities firm, has made its fifth hire in less than two weeks with three appointments to its research teams in the US and UK.

In the UK, Mike Dennis joins as a senior research analyst covering pan-European consumer firms. His former coverage included food and clothing retailers at Cheuvreux, the equity broking arm of Crédit Agricole, where he was a senior research analyst.
