PJT Partners’ UK pay jumps to £602,000 as boutique adds dealmakers

The boutique investment bank slipped to a £5.2m loss for 2023, according to new accounts, but average remuneration is on the up

PJT Partners hiked pay for is London dealmakers to an average of £602,000 last year as the boutique bank slipped to a £5.2m loss despite a 63% uptick in fees.

The UK arm of the boutique bank founded by former Morgan Stanley banker Paul Taubman increased staff numbers by around 14% last year to 235 people as it took advantage of larger rivals paring back their ranks.
