Platinum Capital Management, the alternative investment group, has bolstered its European operations with the appointment of Dr Reinhard Nigl as director of European business development.

Nigl will oversee product marketing and distribution in Germany, Luxembourg and France. He has been involved in the investment management industry, primarily in London, for more than 13 years and specialises in global marketing and product development for alternative investments.
