Platinum Capital Management, the investment group, is to launch a hedge fund based on increased investor demand for low volatility alternative investment products.

The Platinum All Weather fund will be invested in broad-based equity index baskets, with both long and short positions, and will have an options overlay to help hedge the fund's positions.
