Playboy interview raises fresh SEC questions for Google

Google, the internet search engine, is due to begin taking bids in its auction-style flotation on Friday amid fears of a fresh run in with US regulators over an interview given by the company's founders to Playboy magazine.

According to securities law specialists, the interview violates Securities and Exchange Commission rules which specifically ban executives from talking publicly about their company in the lead-up to a flotation, Dow Jones Newswires reports.
