Plus Markets Group, the former operator of the UK’s junior stock exchange which this year faced a breakup and fire sale of its assets, has appointed a senior investment adviser to its board, as the firm mulls using its UK listing as a vehicle for acquisitions.
Hamish Harris, a former banking risk management specialist, has joined the board of Plus as a non-executive director, according to a regulatory filing. Harris is a managing director at investment boutique Nivalis Capital, which focuses on the natural resources, agriculture and property.
