EU leaders urged UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson to stick to the Brexit withdrawal agreement between the two sides, after a report that the UK was planning to introduce legislation overriding parts of the document it signed up to in January.

On 6 September the Financial Times reported that the UK was planning on introducing legislation that would override part of the withdrawal agreement.
