Police have made seven arrests after climate protesters from Extinction Rebellion UK smashed windows at Barclays’ headquarters in Canary Wharf this morning.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said seven women had been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and taken into custody at an east London police station following the protest.
