Port of London fund considers equity and bond specialists

The £330m (€538m) Port of London Authority (PLA) pension fund may appoint a specialist bond manager and a specialist equity manager pending the trustees' decision on whether or not to retain Scottish Widows Investment Partnerships (SWIP) as sole manager.

Bill Bean, the fund's pension manager, said that the merger of Hill Samuel and Scottish Widows had prompted the review but that no decision had been made.
