The Post Office has appointed Investec Guinness Flight for a £40m cash mandate as part of its £2bn in assets under management

Investec was chosen out of a shortlist of four because of its experience with local authorities and track record, said David Noble, group treasury manager. He declined to name the manager that lost the mandate or the other three on the shortlist.
