The UK Supreme Court has ruled that Boris Johnson’s decision to suspend Parliament for five weeks was unlawful.

Eleven judges made the historic decision on Tuesday that the prime minister should not have asked the Queen to prorogue Parliament until October 14, essentially clearing the way for Parliament to reconvene and resume debating Johnson’s Brexit plans.
