The UK's former Secretary of State for Transport, Stephen Byers, has shuffled off into a siding, but PR guru Roland Rudd is still enjoying a first-class train ride.
Finsbury, the PR firm run by Rudd, was controversially given a £750,000-a-year contract to shore up relations between the Department of Transport and the press - or, put more simply, help Byers handle the Railtrack fiasco. The department, needless to say, has lots of its own PRs.
