Pressure on Johnson to perform at Fidelity

The arrival of Abigail Johnson as head of Fidelity's investment advisory division has followed a fall in its share of the US fund market over two years.

According to data firm Financial Research Corporation (FRC), its share fell to 13.4% in the first quarter of 2001 against a peak of 14.45% in the second quarter of 1999.
