Bill Price and William Thompson will be the first investment heads of Allianz Dresdner Asset Management (ADAM), the fund management business of the merging Allianz and Dresdner Bank.

Both are based in San Fransisco. Price was head of investment at Dresdner RCM Global Investors and will oversee global equities. Thompson was the chief executive of Pimco, the fixed income manager bought by Allianz in 1999, and he will oversee global fixed income.
