Private bankers soothe rich over Trump tariffs: ‘We have intensified communication’

Multi-millionaires have sought extra hand-holding since the start of Donald Trump’s second administration

Wealth managers and private bankers have ramped up their communications to calm their ultra wealthy clients as US president Donald Trump’s trade tariffs wipe billions off global stock markets.

Arjun Nagarkatti, head of Deutsche Bank’s private banking business in the US and Europe, told Financial News, that the German lender’s multi-millionaire clients have “increasingly sought guidance” in recent weeks.
