Private debt firm Hayfin Capital Management has set up a new fund of funds platform and hired former Aberdeen Asset Management executive Mirja Lehmler-Brown to lead the strategy, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Lehmler-Brown joined the firm as a managing director earlier this month to lead the platform, which will invest in mid-market buyout houses across Europe, the person added. She previously worked as a senior investment manager at Aberdeen, where she also sat on the investment committee, FN's sister publication Private Equity News reports.
