BC Partners doubles its money on Spotless sale

The European private equity firm sells Dylon manufacturer to trade buyer for €940 million

BC Partners has sold cleaning company Spotless to a trade buyer for €940 million, doubling the money the European private equity firm put in to the business in four years.

German consumer goods group Henkel has acquired the company, which owns brands such as Dylon and Colour Catcher, according to an announcement released on Thursday.
