Private equity boss at Dutch pension giant APG to leave

APG Asset Management invests the money of the largest pension scheme in the Netherlands

APG Asset Management, which invests the money of the largest pension scheme in the Netherlands, has announced that its global head of private equity Iain Leigh will step down at the end of the year.

Head of fund investments Greg Jania and head of co-investments Ken Bloomberg will co-head the firm’s private equity programme and become managing directors as of January 1, 2020. They will also join the executive board of APG Asset Management US.
