Core Capital Partners, the UK private equity firm that owns French restaurant chain Brasserie Blanc, has closed its second fund at £85 million.
Investors include Adams Street Partners, SL Capital Partners and Access Capital Partners, the London-based lower mid-market firm said Wednesday. The new fund is unusual because £45 million of the £85 million has been used to buy up businesses that were held in Core's first fund or owned by its venture capital trusts.
