CDC Group, the UK government-backed emerging markets investor, is getting its first fresh injection of taxpayers' money in 20 years to invest in developing countries.

In a speech on Thursday, Justine Greening, the Secretary of State for International Development, said that the Government was pledging £735 million in new money to CDC over the next three years.
