Private equity firm EQT shuts Asia fund on $800m

Swedish alternative investment firm EQT has closed its latest Asian private equity fund on $800m after more than a year in market, FN's sister publication Private Equity Newsreports.

The fund, EQT’s third focused on the region, will back mid-market companies based in China and south east Asia that operate in the healthcare, services, consumer, TMT and industrial sectors, according to a statement released by the firm.
