Private equity firms more than doubled their investment in UK tech companies in 2015, pushing investment in the sector to its highest level since 2012, with US firms among the biggest investors.
New figures from corporate finance adviser Altium Capital show that buyout companies invested £1.93 billion in the UK tech sector in 2015, up 124 per cent on 2014 levels.
