Impetus-PEF head steps down

The chief executive of the private equity industry charity Impetus-PEF has stepped down from her role after nine years, saying she wants to take time to "reflect" on the next step in her career.

Daniela Barone Soares is to leave on July 2, according to a statement on Tuesday. Barone Soares, a Brazilian native, joined Impetus Trust in 2006. She oversaw the merger between Impetus and fellow industry charity the Private Equity Foundation in 2012.
