UK mid-market buyout firm Inflexion Private Equity has hired a new partner to its Manchester office, as private equity interest in the north of England heats up.

Carl Wormald, who was formerly a director at LDC, has joined the mid-market firm to focus on investment opportunities in the region, according to a statement from the firm on Tuesday.
