The private equity owners behind one of the UK's largest investment platforms for financial advisers is preparing to sell at least part of its stake.

Potential investors will now be able to weigh up whether they want a slice of the newly merged business of James Hay and Nucleus. An information memorandum of a sale by current owners PE house Epiris has been finalised, according to two sources familiar with the deal.
