A managing director at a mid-market private equity firm resigned as a local Conservative councillor after a confrontation at a shop in London.

Peak Rock Capital MD Shiva Tiwari, who spent seven years as a councillor for Camden, resigned from the Tory party in July, four months after switching from Labour.
