Carl Parker, the former head of Permira's London office, has retired from the firm.

Parker, 57, joined Permira in 1989 and was promoted to partner in 1995. He led the London office between 2006 and 2008 and was also head of telecommunications, media and technology until 2010, when Richard Sanders took over the role.
