Private equity veteran joins charity board

The co-founder and managing partner of private equity firm Palamon Capital Partners, Louis Elson, has been made a trustee on the board of Impetus Trust, the charity currently seeking City of London financiers to help grow profitability.

Elson has been taken on to help double the charity's portfolio within the next three years. He will be joined by other senior business executives to raise £10m (€11.3m) over the next three years.
