LPEQ, a trade body that seeks to raise understanding and awareness of listed private equity firms across Europe, has appointed industry veteran Mark Florman as its new non-executive chairman.

He told Private Equity News that his main motivation for taking up the position was that he "really believes in the sector and that it needs more attention".
