Prominent European derivatives specialist steps down from private bank

Siegfried Piel, who sat on the executive board of Bank Sal. Oppenheim in Switzerland and was global head of trading & derivatives at the bank, has left, according to a statement from the Luxembourg-based bank.

Sal. Oppenheim said Piel had left by "mutual agreement, due to differing business views" and added that a replacement will be announced in the next few weeks.
