Savills Investment Management has made several senior management appointments, including new heads of its UK and European businesses, after the property giant posted a record transaction volume in 2017.

Justin O'Connor, Savills IM's chairman and global chief executive, said the new appointments were made to "broaden our senior management team" and help the firm to grow globally. O'Connor will relocate from London to Hong Hong and will now additionally become chief executive for Asia Pacific.
