When Proskauer Rose poached a 19-strong team from Shearman & Sterling in Paris, it was the culmination of a long-held ambition to conquer the French capital, according to the US law firm’s London co-head.
Proskauer swooped on New York rival Shearman to hire a private equity team including four-partners, Financial News reported on 6 September.
