More than 100 senior executives from the fund management and other industries gathered at The Royal Society yesterday for an event that focused on ways to boost the pipeline of women with science, technology, engineering and mathematics skills.

The event was part of Aberdeen Asset Management's Backroom to Boardroom initiative, which was founded by chief investment officer Anne Richards and aims to connect senior women and help rising female talent.
