Pru-Bache poaches DLJ team

Prudential-Bache, the European arm of the fifth largest US full-service brokerage Prudential Securities, has hired a six-strong US equity sales and trading team from Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ).

The team is headed by Nick Robinson, DLJ's former head of equity trading and sales in London. He brings with him to Pru-Bache, Caroline Keep and Mike Hall in equity sales José Martinez and Matt Beer in sales trading and trader Andy Stevens. Robinson and Keep have worked together for 14 years, originally beginning their partnership at Wood Gundy, now part of CIBC World Markets.
