Prudential has hired Geraldine Davies as director of corporate relations from Lloyds TSB .

Davies, who was director of corporate communications at Lloyds, will report to group chief executive Jonathan Bloomer when she takes up her post in September. She replaces Jane Shawe, who left Prudential for a similar role at Sainsbury.
