Prudential fund arm predicts 7% jump in 2003 profits

M&G, the European fund arm of UK insurer Prudential, has forecast its profits will climb to £76m (€109.5m) this year, an increase of 7% on 2002.

Before performance-related fees, the group expects its underlying profits for the full year to be £68m, a 33% increase from the £51m it made in 2002.
