Putnam Lovell NBF, the US investment bank, has hired William Katz as a director in its equity research department and leader of its asset management team.

Katz joins Putnam Lovell NBF from Merrill Lynch, where he was a top ranked analyst in the firm's sellside financial services research team and lead analyst in asset management.
