PwC creates new regional head of financial services role

The role will address ‘the growing importance of the sector outside of London’ as clients and staff move away from the capital

PwC has appointed Gavin Phillips as its first regional head of financial services, reflecting a move to expand outside of London as clients and staff move out of capital as a result of the pandemic.

In this newly created role, Phillips will work closely with the Big Four firm’s UK head of financial services Andrew Kail and the group’s head of regions Carl Sizer, PwC announced on 13 July.
